I don't know if I'm just miserably imperceptive, or if this is sporadic, but I started noticing this tonight on my primary save game.

Potentially of note: Having set the eyes differently for my sim's mundane and dark forms, I notice that the eyes used in live mode for my sims dark form appear to correspond with the ones selected in CAS for my sims' mundane form. Teeth always appear as non-vampire human teeth.

@ShroudedNight That has indeed been noted. It would seem that primarily the vampire features are affected, which is what many of us seem to use on several sims, vampires and spellcasters alike, and it has affected all of them as such. I don't know about werewolves but mine seem to be untouched, but they also don't use any vampire aesthetics like my spellcasters and, naturally, my vampire.
