[ARCHIVED] Vacation time - No option to take time off

How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
What is your current game version number? 2.04 unable toLocate another number
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get to work, ranch pack, seasons, life and death,
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When playing any career (I have tried reaper and undertaker) it says my sim has vacation days available. When I click on the business icon in the phone, it no longer has the option to take a vacation day.
What happens when the bug occurs? My sims gets burnt out!😫
What do you expect to see? I would like to see the bug fixed and the vacation day option back. Or maybe another way to take the vacation day.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I had 2 sims in my household. One was in the Undertaker career et the other one is a writer. Both were unable to take time off until my sim in the Undertaker career quit his job to join the Grim Reaper carrier. After this, both were able to take time off. So in my case it is related to the Undertaker career.

Im also having this issue with the Mortician branch!

my handyperson sim doesn't have the option to take a vacation either

Had it happening few times , but than it turned out that I wanted to take a day off on a day when my sim didn’t work.

than taking vacation is not available from the phone option  on an active work day it should .

have you checked on a day when your sim should be working ? 

Same here, Undertaker (4) and cannot take a vacation day although I have 9 banked. Couldn't earlier in the career either, but I thought it was just a weird glitch but now that she promoted and I went to take one again the option is still gone and I've ended up here lol.
