when I pull up my cell phone and choose to take a vacation day from the mortician job it's not available/ Not there. Help?

I've also been getting this bug
Some careers don't let you take time off until an hour before work. They usually have a popup where you decide if you're going to go to work, work from home, or take PTO (personal time off). PTO is your vacation.
NOTE: I don't have Life and Death, so that's just a guess.
I also have this bug with the Reaper career as well.
Just joined the undertaker career and immediately have this problem. My sim had connections so started a bit ahead, not sure if that affected things. But it's very annoying lol.
Also experiencing this in the Undertaker career. I noticed one time it said 'fake sick' but haven't seen that option or any other option to take any sort of leave since then.
Same here, mortician career.
