I'm having this problem right now. It's a shame that this has been happening since 2018 and there is still no solution...

      I had this problem as well. What I did to fix it was, I wrote down the names of all the butlers who would show up in place of the butler I actually wanted. Then I went to Manage Households, and then to Other Households. Once there, I simply looked up the names I wrote down and deleted them...that solved the problem for me.
