I have this bug too and after all those years It Is really annoying.
I'm playing a family and I need this Butler because of storyline and I noticed that if I travel nothing happens but if I go to an event when I'll came back my Butler has changed.
It happened to me the First Time After a party, so I log the game to an old save file with the Butler not changed, then I install HiGh School EP, my Sims went to proom and when I came back my Butler was changed.
It's really annoying because in this way I keeps playing the same week in Sims game and then checking if the Butler It Is stll the same and if not go back to previous save file and replay It becausa I don't want another Butler.
Please fix It o give us a workaround.
There are even not cheats to solve this.
seriously! It's the entire selling point of vintage glamour and it doesnt even work!
