Hold on, you found one? I was searching all over the usual sites and at some point gave up, it was like no mod maker ever bought the pack or made more than one household. Could you link it (or if links aren't allowed, give a pointer where to look)?

@casadechrisso yes look for simvasion butler tweaks, the script changes a few things about the butler (read notes) but it at least is a temp fix for the leaving lot and returning bug. However if your sim goes on vacation, the butler will cme with you, but is switched out like it always is. So I guess just dont go on vacation lol
