Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a sim begin writing a song on any musical instrument (I encountered this with the violin), then stop partway through, leave the lot or close the game, and try to resume the song.
What happens when the bug occurs? Progress on writing the song is not saved, sim has to start from the beginning every time.
What do you expect to see? I expect song progress to be saved, even if my sim travels or I close the game.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

This makes the Musical Genius aspiration nearly impossible, as a sim cannot write a song in one session without their needs decaying dangerously low.
