What happens when the bug occurs? When you go to resume writing lyrics the progress bar has reset
What do you expect to see? that the progress continues where I left off.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

My Sim has been able to write lyrics for a while now and even though I get her to work on them every day in the last few weeks (IRL weeks) she has only managed to get one song written. Every time she goes to resume writing them from her inventory the progress bar has reset and she has to start all over again. This is not good enough as it already takes far too long to write them anyway, much longer than it takes Sims to write a book, I have had sims that have written several books in the time it has take another sim to write lyrics. Please can you look at this. From looking at past posts this was first raised in 2018 which is, quite frankly, far too long to get something that should be a simple fix sorted.
