What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have all expansions, game packs, and stuff packs installed.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Have a Sim with at least Level 8 in any instrument skill (required to unlock songwriting). 2. Start writing a song on an instrument (e.g., piano, guitar, or violin). 3. Interrupt the songwriting process and have the Sim take a break for at least one in-game day. 4. After the break, interact with the same instrument and attempt to resume writing the song. 5. Observe that the songwriting progress resets to zero.
What happens when the bug occurs? If the Sim takes a break of one in-game day or more, the songwriting progress resets to zero, forcing the Sim to start over.
What do you expect to see? I expect Sims to be able to resume songwriting on any instrument from where they left off, even after taking an extended break, ensuring progress is saved over time.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

There is an issue where my Sim's songwriting progress resets to zero across all instruments if they take an extended break. For instance, my Sim, who has maxed their instrument skill, begins writing a song on a piano, guitar, or violin. If the Sim stops and takes a break for a day or more before returning to the instrument to continue, the songwriting progress resets to default, erasing all prior work. This issue makes it frustrating to complete songs, especially for Sims with busy schedules.
