How often does the bug occur? Every time
What is your current game version number? 1.111.102.1030 DX11
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All EPs, GPs, and SPs, as well as Fashion Street / Blooming Rooms / Desert Luxe / Simtimates Collection / Bathroom Clutter kits; plus Digital Deluxe, Holiday Celebration, and Grim's Ghoulish Guitar content.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Occurs in my game every time my Sims attempt to write songs (on any instrument) or write books and exit the interaction before completing their composition.
What happens when the bug occurs? If Sims are composing music or writing a book and exit the action before completing it, resuming will cause progress on the book/song to reset to 0% and start again from the beginning.
What do you expect to see? Progress bar on books/songs to pick up where it left off when resuming creation.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? First noticed following Patch 168 (September 2024).
I am having the same frustration . When I go to inventory and click on resume it’s starting up from the begginjng , whenever I try to do that after my sim went to work, or attend off lot events .
If my sim stays in the lot the progress is saved , so now he needs to spend his whole day off on songs and take vacation days for filling in the aspiration
To update. The progress resets even when the said sim stays in the lot , but is not actively played. So going to highwchool with his child will reset the progress of the song for him and he starts all over again .
My sim
is loosing all social contacts and relationship just to write 1 song .
