What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all expansions pre horse ranch any free kits/game packs
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Less of a bug but more of a feature the game has never addressed. When writing a book on the computer or a song on an insturment, the progress does not save. Basically, a sim can only write a book or a song if they do it in one interupted sitting, which is quite difficult to do given it takes a full day usually. I have only recently started using mods but this is a pre-existing issue - i've never known book/song writing not to be like this but i have also never seen this on a laundry day list.
What happens when the bug occurs? A sim will start writing a book/song, and any progress made (meaining the percentage written) will reset when they pick it back up again.
What do you expect to see? Sims should be able to come back to writing a song/book and their progress is maintained between writing sessions.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
