@gzg63fyo50ul If you're doing a lot of building are you saving loads of creations to your Library? If so, clear as many as you can. It actually works better to have a backup save rather than a full library. I keep under 10 items usually, in fact it's just 1 item right now. But I run 2 saves on Xbox Series X with all add-ons.
Also (and this would help for anyone on console) check Other Households isn't too full and delete some households. Loading worlds/visiting public lots generates new Townies and in particular I'm noticing this a lot with For Rent and the night market.
If you move from household to household then make sure to clear previous households inventories/fridges etc. This helps the game run more smoothly and helps lagging and crashing.
I had problems for years until I started doing this and now mine is working at least for now. But I'm clearing out extra townies once a week as a kind of general maintenance.
