[ARCHIVED][FR] Pressure cooker has green smoke/bad smell

Hello, I recently purchased the For Rent pack in the Sims 4, and the pressure cooker item has been glitching/bugging. I place it on the counter, and within a couple of game hours it has spoiled somehow? I've cooked with it, taken the food out, and it will still spoil. I buy it and don't cook with it, it still spoils. And I've done both of those things along with giving it a auto-cleaning repair upgrade. It keeps making my sim uncomfortable every time she goes to the kitchen and it's spoiled sosomehow. 

Same here! I just bought a pressure cooker for my household to make some more dishes, however it’s now also emitting the green gas despite being clean and having never been used yet. My Sims all act like they smell it, but thankfully don’t get the Filthy Surroundings moodlet. It’s still super annoying though! I’ve had all upgrades applied to it, made it dirty and then clean again through cheat commands, placed it in another spot, but nothing gets rid of the green gas. I’ve replaced it with a brand new cooker, but now that one has the same problem!

BTW I play on PC, have all kits and packs, and have never downloaded any mods or cc

It seems every time my sim decides to buy a pressure cooker, it's always emitting a stink graphic despite never having been used! 

I just recently created a new game a couple days ago... again using no mods for the purpose of the Cozy Celebrations event as was suggested to do by Crinrict on Crinrict's blog site.

I created a home on a basic residential lot, as there is still so many issues with the rental lots that continues to go unfixed.

For several sim days, either my sim or any visiting sims that stood or prepped meals by the counter in the kitchen, kept making a disgusted face and waving their hands past their nose as if something stunk. Now, my sim was freshly showered and her guests had no odor emitting from them either. Plus, I made sure I had my sim keep her place clean. I kept looking inside the fridge to see if there was any spoiled foods in there only to see all was well. Then,  I finally noticed that there was that green aroma emitting from the pressure cooker! 😮 But my sim didn't have the opportunity to use it yet. Then I thought maybe one of her guest began to cook something as they seem to help themselves to my sim's refrigerator, even when my sim offers food and calls everyone to eat. So, I thought they began to cook but walked away. So I replaced it as there was no option to clean it.

I no sooner purchased a new one to replace the old one and it did the same thing right away!

I do sincerely hope this will get fixed soon, but... sadly... I won't hold my breath 😢. It seems anything related to the For Rent pack is still being ignored after several pleads to get them fixed.

Unlike some here though, I didn't have this issue in times past when I played. It was only just recently for my experience with the new game and the latest update for the holiday events and free stuff.
