Can't Afford ANY Lot and Cheats won't work

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
What is your current game version number? 1.69.59.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Snowy Escape Eco Lifestyle Discover University Island Living Get Famous Seasons Cats and Dogs City Living Get Together Get to Work Realm of Magic Jungle Adventure Parenthood Vampires Dine OUt Out Door Retreat Nifty Knitting Tiny Living My First Pet Laundry Day Toddler Fitness Backyard Kids Room Movie Hangout Spooky Cool Kitchen Free Stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know
What happens when the bug occurs? All lots become unaffordable and the cheats do not work.
What do you expect to see? Lots with their usual pricing. Able to buy the cheapest lot. Or using cheats to get enough money to afford a lot.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

    I'm super salty because I just finished making this family after watching Lord of the rings and now I can't play them. They won't save to my gallery and I can't do anything but start over. But I worked on them for 3 hours!

    @ChristianOtaku They usually auto-save to the library. Did you check there ? Always save families to library/gallery before placing them especially if you worked on the a long time

    Which cheats do not work ? Did you try freerealestate ?

    I think FreeRealEstate will work even with negative funds. (Your household appears to have -44,000)

    It won't allow me to enable cheats. Here's the messages I get when I try.

    I gave up and started over :<

    I think part of the bug that occured was due to my computer randomly shutting down. Something rebooted strangely. I'm not having any problems now.

    I just downloaded island living and im having the same issue. I cant even get to cheats bc I only start with $705 and cant afford anything

    The free real estate cheat is sensitive to when you do it. 

    you got to put it in before you try and place the family
