Can't place items in backpack on old saves

Question

Product: The Sims 4Platform:PCWhich language are you playing the game in?  EnglishHow often does the bug occur?  Every time (100%)What is your current game version number?  1.99.305.1020What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed?  AllSteps: How can we find the bug ourselves?  Open the pack and try to drag from a sim inventory for example : a bookWhat happens when the bug occurs?  The object (book) you try to drag just don't drop in the Back-PackWhat do you expect to see?  The Back-Pack works like it's suppose to : be able to drag in it stuff from sim inventory. The Back-Pack can be put in a sim inventory though with no problem. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods?  Not now. I've removed them.Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system?  YesPlease describe the patch or change you made.

I want to add that on a new game it works fine.
I did a game repair, and on my old saves it helps to make the back-park work for books.

@mllespider Same problem. How is the backpack supposed to work, like the other existing storage chests? Because so far I can't store things in it. I hope it's not the shared inventory type of storage, those items are useless. You can't sort anything if every chest has the same inventory.

@Kendra002&nbsp;First, delete the localthumbcache file and then do a game repair and the backpack on your old saves will work : )Each Backpack works individualy. If you put a book in one it won't appear in the other one.Very nice.Here what can be put in a Backsack (what I found for now)- Any readable book (even those a sim wrote)- Journal- The new Lunch Box- Camera- Tablet/Laptop- Yoga Mat- Little Toy Figurine/Clay/Future Cube/Bubble Bottle- The Friendship Bracelet Kit- Pet Toy- Pet BowlI'm sure there's more and we will find them lolGood game repair to you : )
