Since the three patch updates starting on 24th July 2024, then the two that followed to correct several reported bugs since the update. i’ve tried every cheat out there to remove the ‘hurt’ sentiment my sim now has for her husband after he — completely autonomously of course — was mean to her. it’s driving me insane because now she’s sad every time she’s in the same room as him, which understandably is often lol. can anyone help me out? like has EA disabled sentiment cheats or something or am i doing something else wrong? and does anyone know an alternative (maybe in-game) methode of getting rid of sentiments? thanks in advance!

True, sadly.When I use modifyrelationship XX1 XX2 YY1 YY2 +100 close_st_hsprom_skippingpromtogetherI get Invalid value for track_type: 'close_st_hsprom_skippingpromtogether' (No names matched 'close_st_hsprom_skippingpromtogether'.)That's not good. I use these a lot, for example when teens in a romantic relationship decide to skip prom, and it's prom time - they erroneously get the BAD sentiment Bitter_ST_HSProm_NoPromInvite. Always. I use the cheat to get rid of that bad sentiment and replace it with the corresponding good sentiment.Perhaps the sentiments have just been renamed, and if someone found out their new names, the cheat would work again with those. That's what I hope anyway.I do not want cheats because I'm too lazy to play or anything, I need cheats like that as workarounds for all the BUGS in the game! (Okay, and they're nice for storytelling purposes, for people who like to play that way.)

@AxelRogat As far as I can tell, mines have always worked with the mods. They appear to have stopped working, since the last patch dated 24th July, and the addition of the new lovestruck expansion. I hope they can sort it soon.

I am and as far as I can tell the majority of us are. I think the only difference is the platforms. But, Sentiments cheats no longer working is the issue.

Apologies, I am new on here. So to clarify. I opened the thread about sentiment cheats no longer working and then the thread I opened separately, was merged. I don't know by who. But, yest to confirm - since the big update on 24th, then the release of lovestruck. Then the updates to correct the update. Since all of that - as far as I can tell, sentiment cheats no longer works. I have typed every variation, known to man and nothing works.

BTW, ltr_friendship_main and ltr_romance_main still work, but I have not found a sentiment that does.
What I don't understand is how I even got that error message before (see above). Now all attempts at adding/removing a sentiment just silently fail...
[edit: I get the messages when I switch mods back on, but what mod is responsible - beats me]

I'm on the latest build + Lovestruck. Did the command console for adding Satisfaction Points Change? The command does nothing even though testingcheats is enabled.

I have never tried that command, but the bug seems to have effected parts of the panel that holds relationships etc. Some cheats are working and some are not. For example the cheat that unlocks cas for already created sims (cas.fulleditmode on cas.fulleditmode on) was working. The new cheat in lovestruck that brings the romance up to 10 or any number you want was working (stats.set_skill_level AdultMajor_Romance 10) but, the sentiments cheat - not working. I am hoping they do a patch soon to bring sims back to what it was - at least before lovestruck and the patch before it. My fingers are crossed for us all.

@9019305 cas.fulleditmode works for me. There were a few times I had to enter it twice, though.

I don't know what's happening recently but I can't seem to use the sentiment cheats. I tried to use it on my sims but it's not working for me after the previous update on Monday.
