Collectibles Not Showing In Collections Until Placed Back in Inventory

This is basically across the board - it's affecting almost every type of Collectible.

MySims trophies aren't registering at all (0/20) even though I have several of them. I have 6 Microscope prints (I'm staring at them right now), and only 2 are counted under Collectibles. I've caught 6 types of fish, but am only receiving credit for 3. I haven't gone through all of the Garden stuff now, since I have tons of plants, so I'm not sure what is affected there.  0 fossils, even though I have Prehistoric Rock.

Out of curiosity, I took one of the MySims trophies (Dr. F, specifically) that I had placed on the shelf and put it back in my inventory. I got the sound that plays when you collect a new item, and now it is counted. I did the same with the Prehistoric Rock - same effect.

So basically, if I place EVERYTHING back into my inventory, I get credit for it again. It still counts in my collection once I place it back into the world again, though.
