Due to some weird region locking policy, I'm forced to play Sims 4 in Polish. I've heard the price argument already, but the base game is not much cheaper here and the SPs are actually more expensive...
Since the thread was moved to Bug Reports, I'll add a few more mistranslations from CAS:
- Squeamish trait translated as "Wrażliwy". "Wrażliwy" means someone sensitive, vulnerable, emphatic first. It should be rather "delikatny" or maybe "przeczulony".
- Self-assured translated as "Zadufany". I'm not sure of original connotations, but in Polish "zadufany" is a negative trait. I think "self-assured" is a positive one? In that case is should be just "pewny siebie". Synonyms that don't have negative connotations are "śmiały" (also meaning "bold" in English) or "asertywny" ("assertive").
- One of the categories in tops (not sure of the original name, the one with a sleeveless shirt symbol) is translated as "bezrękawniki". "Bezrękawnik" in Polish means a vest, but only as outerwear (e.g. a puffa vest). It should be rather "na ramiączkach".
Honestly, after years of playing Sims 3 in English, it's a pain having to play Sims 4 in Polish. I gave only those few examples, because I just try not to read the text too closely. I have to Google for English equivalents anyway to communicate with other simmers.
EDIT: Screenshots added. I also noticed a text error while taking a screenshot for Zadufany (Self-Assured) – all of the traits are in feminine form (it's for a female sim – hence "Zadufana", not "zadufany") except for "Porywczy" (which is a masculine form of "Hot-Headed" – should be "Porywcza")
