Cupids Corner matches do not honor sexual preference

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Using Cupid's Corner, find a person who doesn't romance your gender. Ask them out on a get to know you date. Have a gold date experience. Romance bar will shoot up. Then try to interact romantically with the sim. They inform you that they're flattered, but not interested in you that way. They would be happy to be friends.
What happens when the bug occurs? You have a romance bar with a sim that doesn't romance your gender.
What do you expect to see? Cupid's corner date suggested should match my gender or if invited out on a get to know you date, the other sim shouldn't get a romance bar after the date ends.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
I double checked. Sim is only interested in woohoo with men too. My sim is female. I thought maybe she wouldn't romance women, but would woohoo with women, but that is not the case. I removed all of my mods before this happened. I deleted all cache files and repaired my game. This is a brand new save file that I created after doing all that. It's also the first date experience I tried. Her romantic exploration is set to No.
