Firaxium stereo upgrade makes sims complain about garbage

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Upgrade a stereo with the firaxium upgrade, then play the game for a long time. It appears that the stereo will eventually still break like they used to but the game will now nearly instantly auto-fix the stereo. After that sometimes when sims enter the room with the stereo they will point at the ground and complain and the garbage thought bubble will appear.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims complain about garbage in the room.
What do you expect to see? Sims not complaining about garbage in the room.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
This has been a hard one to pin down, and is mostly anecdotal so I'm hoping someone can back up my observations about their sims constant complaining about garbage and not being able to find anything in the room after tearing it apart. Deleting the upgraded stereo solves the problem.
