[FIXED] Beds/Woohoo Bugged

Since the new patch beds aren't working as expected. I have a married couple. They no longer go to the bed they went to before the patch, which was in the closest bedroom, even when I click on that bed to initiate woohoo. After they have woohoo, one sim gets up and when i click on the sleep action, they always want to go to the side of the bed the partner is in. This wakes up the partner who then has to be directed to sleep on the other side of the bed.

    @Chrisktkt657 Merged with existing issue.

    As for your other issue: Do they not go back to bed automatically ? For me they always stand next to the bed when I reload but go back to bed on their own.

  • As far as I remember I directed them to go to bed myself, but the game was paused when loaded, so I think I saw them stand there and told them to go to bed before I unpaused the game and they got a chance to do anything on their own
  • I'm having a similar issue. My sims refuse to WooHoo in their bed. There are only two beds on the lot, but there are two separate buildings on the lot. One bed in each building. My sims refuse to WooHoo in the bed in the larger room in the bigger building. There is nothing next to the bed other than nightstands. It is sitting on a rug. They will sleep in this bed. The second bed is in a smaller room and is surrounded by clutter. They are both the same bed in different colors.

    If the second bed is not being used my sims will walk all the way from the first bed into the other building then WooHoo on the other bed.

    If the second bed is in use, then they cancel the WooHoo action.
  • I left the household that had this problem again, and played other households. None of the other households had this problem. When I came back to the problem household, I deleted the telescope from the lot and moved the roommate out (note: the roommate moved in after the problem started and slept in the bed the woohoo couple would no longer sleep or woohoo in.

    The problem started originally the first time the game was loaded after the 10/1/2014 patch was installed. The house has 2, nearly identical bedrooms on the second floor. No other beds on the lot. Now, after intiating woohoo thru chat, the sims go to their original bed, woohoo, and go to sleep immediately afterwards (note: their engergy was yellow. They do not go to sleep immediately after woohoo if their energy is not low). It has been working since removing the telescope and roommate.

    Although I currenly no longer have the problem, I can't really say the problem is fixed since the cause was never identified, and i dont know if the changes I made fixed it or something else did.

    I also have this issue. I have a large home with 4 bedrooms. There 3 couples living in this household. I designed bedrooms for each couple, with beds for each couple. When I use the Whoohoo interaction (either through chat or clicking the bed directly) they always use the same bed. They will not use any other beds in the house. The bedroom they "prefer" is on the main floor. If someone is sleeping in it, than the others can not whoohoo at all. They begin the interaction by aking their partner, but the then the interaction disappears. I have tried moving, replacing the beds, removing the problem bed, using a different family, and making sure nothing is placed around the beds. Results are always the same. Even with the new family, they still had a "prefered" bed.

    *I do not have any CC in game

    *I have the DVD Premium version of the game

    *I had this problem before the last two updates (since release)

    *I am a laptop player (Hp with Windows 8)

  • I have the problem where I can not get my two Sims to WooHoo whatsoever. I've tried in chat, and in two different beds, but it will just not work. The action is cancelled right after they do a little dance. Also, the two sims are married with two roomates, not sure if that makes a difference.
