I had tried splicing a tulip and chrysanthemum in order to get a bird of paradise. The spliced plants have not produced bird of paradise flowers; however, when I went into my household inventory, I found two bird of paradise plants and planted those. The plants appearing has occurred twice, and both times the plants did not produce flowers.

Birds of Paradise plants that are acquired from rare seed packets will now successfully blossom. Fixed in Patch 1.47.49

I now have almost 20 plants in my household inventory and no flowers. Most certainly a bug and not "just not lucky"

Not only did I have a spliced flower, I got two Bird of Paradise flowers from rare seeds and they didn't count towards the collection (all the other plants from the seed packets counted) as well as none of my BoP plants producing flowers.

Just to add that the plant is behaving normally -- it can be evolved (mine is up to Magnificent quality) but it's not producing any flowers. Seems to be an issue since the last patch. Bird of Paradise is the last flower I need to finish the gardening collection, so I'd really like to get it soon.

I'd also like to report this happening since the last patch. They were working fine when I first playtested, but since starting a new save I've had 6 plants come from rare seed packets. I planted three of them, all of which have grown and been evolved as normal, but they don't produce flowers and they can't be recorded in the notebook, for some reason. I've had two sims try to record them, and nothing.
And they fact they don't produce flowers is making things a pain for flower arranging.

Just updating to add that none of my birds of paradise in either of my current saves are producing flowers.
I've got one set at magnificent quality and the other is at perfect, and in the entire length of time that it took to get them to that quality, they have never produced any flowers.
I did a repair game and deleted cache after the most recent patch, but they still haven't produced any flowers.

NB: All of the plants came from seed packets, and appeared in my inventory as fully grown plants. I haven't seen any flowers anywhere out in the world.

I CANT BELEIVE THIS ISSUE IS STILL GOING ON AFTER WEEKS. Why isn't this fixed? For those of us that are in the profession we will never make the best arrangements because we cant grow real BOPs. Why isn't EA Fixing this Defect?

Hi SimGuruIcarus,
Here's a link to one of my Sims 4 saved files uploaded to my Google Drive, which has had two birds of paradise plants fully grown and sheltered for a couple sim weeks, but have never flowered. I've made the planter they're in a different colour for ease of identification among the other plants.

Hello Simmers!
I have a bird of paradise plant, and it won't flower. There's no option to harvest for the plant. I tried grafting it on another plant, and the plant only shows the other flowers. I am working on improving the quality of the plant, but I think I should see the flowers. Is there something special about this plant that I need, or is this a bug? Thank you!
