[FIXED] Bonsai Bush to Bonsai Tree - Perfect isn't good enough?

Bonsai Bush is a gardening plant made by grafting daisy + strawberry and then planting the resulting berry. You are supposed to be able to then turn the full grown bush into one of the decorative ones purchasable under activities (painting easel, telescope, etc)

Same problem for me

4.Do you have the download or DVD Version of the game ? DVD

I note that, this option was not greyed with the excellent quality, only with lower or higer quality.

Ooooh that's interesting to note Haka, sounds like they just forgot to add the higher qualities to the acceptable list.

Another ditto, got the Bonsia buds from a perfect sliced plan and when I grow them they can't be converted to decrative

Magnificent isn't good enough either. All my sim's fruit is magnifient or better so no hope of planting the inferior excellent quality plant.

The only workaround I can see is to graft  inferior quality daisy and strawberry plants to get inferior quality bonsai buds. Plant them. Once the shrub reaches excellent don't evolve it further. That's a whole lot of work for a gardener whose plants have all evolved past Excellent.

having the same problem here. I keep fertilizing yet it's still only perfect :P
