I have been having this issue consistently, and it is included when I get LE for something else. But it is always an ongoing bug. I didn't use the grid to charge the jewelry. I used the charge (debug) cheat because I needed it immediately to keep my vampire teen alive in the sun, and I prefer jewelry over potions d/t risk of backfire. I didn't even have the grid on the lot until I tried to fix this issue today thinking maybe it was because I was using a cheat to charge it, especially since I used the debug cheat to charge it and then it NEVER needed to be recharged. Maybe it always does this and I just didn't notice? But I was having issues prior to this where I DID charge it on the grid, and I was still unable to see the remaining charge time when hovering over the jewelry. I had to put it on the grid to make sure it had the swirling animation indicating it was fully charged. This is why I started using the debug option frequently.
I have quite a few mods, but this issue started after the last patch as far as I know..? It DID initially work just fine when I got the crystal creations pack when it was first released.
I just started playing with this pack. Had I known there was potential for corrupt save files I would not have done so. What corruptions are players experiencing? I keep getting the jewelry tracker LE. The only thing I’ve done is sold some pieces on plopsy and the table. I have my sim wearing a ring she made that allows her to find crystals. But outside of that I don’t have any sims from the gallery with any jewelry so I can only assume it has to do with the plopsy pieces? It would be nice for EA to stop release game breaking content. Now I’m not so sure I want to buy the Lovestruck pack.
I'm worried to use the new Lovestruck expansion's dating app because of this bug. It uses sims from the Gallery, and if sims can be uploaded with this jewellery tracker bug and have the bug transfer over to new saves, I just don't trust using the gallery for households anymore.
Really hoping for a fix before Lovestruck.
I don't use Sims from the gallery nor do I ever use Plopsy in gameplay. Or even sell at any retail locations. Despite this, I started getting the LE and bug alert after making a Sim wearing it enter the CAS system. My male Sim who crafted it gave it to his partner as a proposal ring, so I had them wear it obviously. When I went to customize a wedding outfit for them with them still wearing the crafted jewelry, the LE started to appear. For a while, it was just lagging, freezing, etc. However, I disabled the pack after my game froze and then crashed twice. Especially after one of the times the game froze and crashed was mid-saving. Luckily, after disabling Crystal Creations, I stopped getting the LE and all the seeming side effects from it, including the game crashing, stopped for the most part. Sometimes the game still lags on rare occasions, but it isn't bad at all and that is probably because I have multiple large mods on it, so that comes with the add-ons.
But it isn't just using Sims or households from the gallery or adding Sims to the gallery that I can know of. As I started getting the bug and issue just by having a Sim wearing crafted jewelry enter CAS.
