[FIXED] [DO] Can't request table in restaurant on a date/Hang-out

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Invite another non-household sim to a restaurant, go to the host to request a table.
What happens when the bug occurs? When requesting a table for a group of two, either by selecting a table or the host podium the interaction occurs but the host does not seat you and the other sim. I noticed this does not occur when trying to be seated alone. Tried without mods and issue still occurs.
What do you expect to see? Host seats the group after the "Request Table" interaction completes.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I was away on vacation all last week and noticed this issue when I returned on Monday, 9/30. There have been several patches since then released. ‌

Having the same issue. 

Just downloaded a new restaurant thinking that may be the issue, worked fine I could get a table. I then went to make it a date and we no longer had a table and could no longer request one.

happening to me too! cancelling date is the only fix ☹️

I went on a date I invited a sim too. After I ended the date to check myself, I still couldn’t fine at the restaurant. I deleted the lot, got a new one from the gallery and tried alone and still couldn’t request a seat.

If you have the dine out game pack and you send your sims to a restaurant and ask for a table, the restaurant manager/hostess (english isn’t my first language) will either ignore the sim or will walk to the table they’ve given them, but sims can’t sit or order because the game will say they haven’t asked for a table.

When my sims ask for a table at a restaurant, the restaurant manager/hostess will act like they’ve given my sims a table, but then my sims can’t sit because the game tells me my sims haven’t asked for a table yet.

This in my game has been happening for a few days, I haven’t installed any new custom content.

How do I fix this? Is anyone else having this problem?

I need to specify that I have custom content installed, but it’s all for CAS and very little for build mode. I have a mod manager and it’s telling me everything is up to date, so I can’t imagine my custom content being the issue, since I don’t have any script mods installed.

I would like to add after looking though all peoples comments here, it seems its over all platforms from pc, to mac, to xbox, to app, to playstation, not being able to get seated at a table while on a date and for some just going out for a meal, also the sims wants icon,  when asking out your date it does not take it as being done.

so over all we need this fixed as it totally effects the game a lot.

I have the same issue. It works perfectly fine when I'm not on a date, but as soon as it's a date, no matter how many times I request a table, nothing happens. Other Sims get tables, but the host never gets my Sims one
