    Physics degree (completed before EL) worked for the Green Technician branch just fine.

    @jacknifelee Thanks all for verifying

    Making this thread about the fact that it's not listed in the enrollment dialog.

    Hopefully just an oversight.

    @VampireKitten109 Could you maybe edit the first post with the extra info and make it about the missing listing ?
  • okay and as we are on it, what about the new freelance branch? what degree supports it?

    I've also been trying to find out about the new freelance career.

    I don't know what does support it, but can confirm that Fine Art does *not* support it. It was suggested as an option, but that's not the case.

    Please disregard, further feedback below.

    @missdeefying What do you mean with no support? Did you follow my suggestion on the official forums? Degree should have an effect on performance rate, bonus salary and paid time off.
  • @kusurusu Thanks for the information. I followed up on this over the last day or so.

    I created two sims in a household and cheated to give one of them the Fine Arts degree, then put them both into the Freelance Crafter trade.

    The sim with the degree did not receive a signing bonus and there was no appreciable difference between the rate of progress on the performance bar for the two sims, but the sim with the degree does consistently receive a higher payout for each gig.

    The sim with the degree didn't receive a bonus payout on increasing rank within the career, but did consistently receive between 150-400 more simoleons per gig.
