Not sure what to do, I've tried replacing the lot, selling the property and purchasing again, purchasing the property in multiple ways but nothing seems to work. I also occasionally get an error message when trying to save when on the lot.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Owning several businesses doesn't help for me. I own all four businesses. Vet, Retail, restaurant, and now two rentals. Only the Vet and the Retail shop will show up for me, and I still have to go in and out of build mode to get those to show up. The restaurant and the rentals never show up for me now. I even sold them form the world menu and bought them both back. Still won't show up in the menu.
Come on, EA. This is a major game-breaking bug and it's been almost a month! We want to play this pack that we spent $40 on!
Anyone now having issues with 'not owning' property they now moved to when it was formally a residential rental and is now simply residential?
Still no solution found for businesses not showing up... 🤷♀️
** UPDATE **
Looks like the property has a landlord although it never looked like a rental until I got a notification that my rent was due... Landlord isn't in my world so found who it is (since he keeps just walking into the house and I cannot ask him to leave) - trying to move him into my household and now stuck on the 'Split from Household and Move' screen. Was so excited about this expansion pack but now I cannot be bothered with it. So many issues.

I can build on the property however cannot do anything with it in live mode
I discover this glitch while playing with the test Save (created in a new vanilla TS4 folder) I made after getting For Rent. I have messed around with this Save trying to figure out how everything works. I did break one of my Residential Rental lots rather spectacularly, but managed to fix it... Though... maybe not....
I wanted to know how many single household Residential Rental lots - not apartments - my Sim could own. She bought 7, but when she returned to her own lot the Owned Businesses tab was empty.
Going into B/B mode and back out restored the rental management UI. It remained as long as she stayed on her lot, but traveling or quitting and restarting the game resulted in an empty Owned Businesses tab.
If she traveled to a still empty rental, the Owned Businesses tab could be restored by going in and out of B/B mode. B/B mode is not available on leased lots. However she could knock on the door and preform maintenance tasks on appliances or chat with the Tenants using the rental menu.
I tried repairing and resetting my game. No change. I gave Johnny Zest a million simoleons and had him buy some properties. Same results. The Owned Businesses tab was broken.
Next: I started a new vanilla save. Had another Sim buy 7 properties. Cheats were used. No problems. Everything worked fine.
Next: I started another vanilla save. Then I replaced the Save folder with a copy of a Save from my regular game pre For Rent. This Save would have been exposed to mods. But there were no mods in this new game. I had one of my Sims try to buy a Residential Rental. It crashed my game.
So, I repaired and reset my game and copied in the same pre Rent save folder. This time before I started playing I went around to the unoccupied residential lots and made small changes to refresh them. (I've been playing this save a loooong time. Probably every residential lot has been touched.) I had the same Sim buy several lots. No problems. I added a copy of my Mods folder from my current game into the mix. No problems. The Owned Businesses tab worked fine. He could manage his properties just fine.
Now: I have gone back to my problem Save and am trying to see if managing properties works even if the Owned Businesses tab is broken. I'll probably have my Sim buy a Residential Rental set up as apartments just to see how that goes.
Things to know:
You cannot buy occupied Residential or Residential Rental lots. This is by design. You'll need to evict the current tenants first. You can move them back in via Household Management after you've established your rental.
As a Landlord you cannot go into B/B while visiting an occupied rental. This is by design. You can edit occupied rentals by going through the Manage Worlds map. You can edit unoccupied rentals when visiting them.
Tiny Houses need to be converted to regular Residential before you can buy them.
Even though your Owned Businesses tab is empty, you still own and can manage your rentals by visiting the units/lots. There is a Rental menu in the Tenant Sim's social menu, you can use this to ask about conditions, etc. Yes. This is definitely not optimal.
The most important part in getting to 5 stars is visiting units, preforming maintenance tasks, interacting with tenants, participating in tenant events and responding to maintenance emergencies. Rentals are not get it and forget it. Ratings will fluctuate.
You should be able to temporarily restore the Owned Businesses tab buy going in and out of B/B mode. But you can only do this on your home lot or an unoccupied rental unit/lot. You still own your rentals. You can still travel to them and preform your Landlord duties.
Still working through this to see what I can figure out. Right now it appears that it's just the Owned Businesses tab that is broken.
I have played all day today and had this happen after building my fourth rental property. The issue is the properties all say my main household is the property owner, yet while in play mode, my main household apparently does not own any rental properties. On top of that, I tried buying the rental properties but I can't unless they are unoccupied. I don't understand. It shouldn't be this difficult. Now I have 10+ hours of game play wasted.
I can confirm that this also started happening to me after I bought my 3rd or 4th rental, and now it's happening constantly (no mods) no matter how many rentals I own. One of my sims in the owner family did achieve the Aspiration Reward Trait for the rental aspiration, not sure if that could be related. But, I also can confirm what @DizzyDee-K is saying, that you do actually still own them, and can manage them manually by visiting and talking to tenants. It appears just the UI panel is broken. Although that is pretty important so hopefully there is a fix soon.
ALSO, i am now getting a save error that other folks in this thread have mentioned. I CAN save if I go to manage worlds. I also am having objects reappear in my family inventory that I already sold.
@lehcar3 and others: Check the Complied list of issues to see if your error code is there and add your "Me too." Or use search to find out if your code matches other reported codes. If not you can start a new thread. Same for the inventory objects reappearing. Those are separate issues and will get more attention in their own threads.
