    Ranch Hands now stay hired until you dismiss them.

    Fixed in Patch 1.101.290/1.81

    Please create a new thread if you're still experiencing this issue,

I'm having the same issue.  She does a great job,  stays longer than she should.  I think she will come back,  but if I leave my lot for any reason....  when I come back home I will have to rehire.

I had a ranch hand for one day, too. He did a good job but he never returned. He stayed late, too. He definitely worked and when he ran out of tasks, he cuddled the sheep and the goat.
