[FIXED] [HSY] Won't Travel to Prom

Having the same problem. Never had this before, only on my save where I play on long life span. Like you, I get the pop up, I select the teens I want to travel to prom with, and nothing happens.

Hey! I actually just placed Mei Prescott back into the world from the gallery as someone on the thread suggested so I'm going to try that tomorrow, plus the workaround someone else suggested of having them travel to their high school first. Hopefully both of those things help. I got one of the most popular versions of Mei from the gallery, and I'm assuming/hoping she's still assigned as a high school principal. I'm shocked the game doesn't just generate one for you tbh. 

So I had them travel to their high school and placed Mei back in the world like someone suggested, and it didn't work, but it did when I turned ageing off. Not sure if it was a combination of all of those things that did it or just the ageing, but either way at least they could still go to prom. Thanks everyone <3

I saw in another thread that this could happen if the principal died? 

So you need to travel to the school with your sim on one day, I would do Friday to be safe and this will spawn a new principal. Prom should work as expected after this.

Thank you! I tried a LOT of different solution attempts and none of them worked, but going to the high school to spawn a new principal is what fixed it for me! I hadn't even realised our principal had died... It worked for me spawning the new one in on Saturday less than an hour before prom 🙂

I've been having this issue for a month. It started with getting the 123 error code when trying to travel to prom. I was only getting that error for prom and not anywhere else. After the latest patch, I never got the error anymore, but now my teen sims don't get the pop-up asking them if they wanted to go to the prom. For a couple of weeks ( NOT in game), I couldn't get them to make a promposal sign or ask another sim to the prom. It wasn't showing up on the calendar either.

I started my game last week, and for some reason, prom is showing up on the calendars again. Sims can now ask others to go to the prom, but on Saturdays, they still don't get pop-ups to travel to prom.  Each sim automatically gets a resentful sentiment for no prom invite. I tried traveling to the auditorium right before prom was supposed to start. It's decorated for prom, but you can't do anything, and nobody is in there. Mei Prescot is alive and well. I removed all my mods and cc and started a new game. This did not fix the issue. I saw the laundry list just now, and it says, "Teen Sims will be able to travel to prom even if Principal Mei Prescott is not alive." That's great, but in my game, she's still alive. I hope they look more into this.

I've also been having the same problem with graduation ceremonies! When my teen sim ages up, she automatically gets a "Graduated with Honors" pop-up. She should be valedictorian! I also got a notification in the mail that said that she would receive her diploma. I also tried removing my mods and cc and started a new game, and it still doesn't work.

@JuniperWhimsyI have my Sims' lifespan on normal, but I turn it off and on whenever I want them to start aging. I tried playing a new save with the aging turned off, but my teen sim still couldn't attend prom even though Mei Prescott is alive. Maybe if I have her attend classes at school, it might work.
