I just got the patch and am really happy about all the fixes and updates. I am playing the "Base Game" with nocc and no mods. I opened my save and began to play and planned a Birthday Party. The party began and after a few minutes, I noticed the "circle"(timer) was still all white. Upon hovering my mouse I could see the minutes ticking away, but still the icon was solid white. The party continued and I met many goals and noticed that a few minutes before the party was over (right before my eyes) the icon changed from solid white to almost all green with a sliver of white(as it should look). Let me know if I'm the only one who has seen this. If not, then it may be something to investigate. MaryVann wrote: » Hi @rosemowThis happens on all types of parties. Issue

Wonky, all white timer not counting down consistently when sim invited to event.

Perhaps a secondary issue, or by design, the inviting sim is also a member of the same club my sim is. Neither of the sims are the club leader and even though he invited my sim to alien's night out, it auto started a club gathering. This report is to focus on the timer.

The picture will show that when the sims arrived there was 16 min remaining showing on the all white timer. The timer went down to 0 and reset to 57 min. After that counted down it then reset to 59 min remaining. After that it reset yet again from 0 to 59 min. At that point my sim's needs were so low that I ended the event and sent him home.

Steps you took for Issue to occur

My sim accepted invite to alien's night out at The Shrieking Llama in Windenburg. The inviting sim lives in Willow Creek and my sim lives in Newcrest so both had to travel from other worlds to the Windenburg location.

Where does the bug occur ?

I have only tried one save game so far and encountered the issue with the timer twice. I first saw it last night when my sim was invited to a boy's night out in Windenburg. The event was at the Old Quarter Inn and the inviting sim was different. The inviting sim that time was not a member of the same club as my sim so I don't know if a club meeting would have auto started, or not. The inviting sim lives in Windenburg and my sim in Newcrest.

I see it too but not every time and mostly when I get invited and not when I throw the party.

HI Crin just like to report I have this problem since the latest patch and only when I held birthday parties. Have not tested work timer. It comes and go's. Some of the events (birthday parties) are fine. And some have a bugged timer. It runs from no time at all to an hour left. This does not make any sense what so ever. Hope it get' s solved with the next patch. Cant tell how long my sims have to get party goals done?!😳

I am currently having problems with telling whether timer on party event is starting , ending or halfway through. It starts out at 0 time left at start of party. Just to continue at 1 hour left. Please can someone help with this issue.
Have no mods only base game , spa day , get to work and outdoor retreat. Thank You for your kind attention☺

I have this happen to me all the time at the police station with my detectives with the timer, but not out on patrol or at the crime scene. Though the police station always runs slower than the rest of the game like it has a memory leak or something and I have a fast alienware game computer. So I don't no what is up. Since the last patch though I have seen this happen at parties with the timer once and a while. So now it seems the timer with parties is affected just like the police station timer, though the timer at the police station is the worst. Timer will pause the game for a few seconds too, like a stop and go action when goals are accomplished.

I haven't find my issue in the list so i'm writing a post.
Almost every time my sims go to a party or to work, the "timer" does not appear, i can't achieve any of the task i have to do. But 1/25 it works so i don't think it comes from a mod or a custom content (to double check). (at parties, it sometimes says that my sims does not take part of the event).

It's not even that it's not functioning properly but i got no timer at all. Not even the name of the "event".
