Editing Guidry or Temperance in CAS removes their hidden traits that give them their special roles. If the game needs them but can't find one with the hidden trait it creates new ones. Hence double Guidrys/Tenperances (poor us 😆).
One can re-add the trait via codes or using MCCC (usually, now when I tried with edited Guidry, there wasn't the right option available with MCCC for him anymore to add the trait. Don't know what's going on with that).
But as said they might not be just normal ghosts so I'm not sure if adding random cause of death and re-adding the right hidden trait will be enough 🤷🏼♀️
I had no idea this could happen if we'd edit them in any way. As I'd written in a previous post here, I've edited Temperance, Guidry and Bonehilda in CAS three times over three separate saves and they'd all continued to function within their proper roles. I'd edited likes/dislikes and orientations/boundaries, names were then a required change to complete those edits. The only instance in which I've experienced duplicates was upon recently testing one of those saves to edit to their causes of death. I have no explanation for how I'd gotten away with the rest of those edits. xD
Thanks for posting about the codes, though. I hadn't known it was an option. I can do a search for them, but I'd be grateful if you might point me in the right direction as to where these can be found. I also use MCCC but have never noticed the option. Although I'll try that, as well.

Apparently you can edit them to some extent but some things remove the trait 🤷🏼♀️
