I am also having the same issue. I did the Assistant to the Grim Reaper quest and was in the middle of doing A Call Away. I went to the neighborhood and placed down a haunted house, then when I came back to the household, the UI was completely gone except for the reward pane. But no quests. Tried removing mod folder and doing the work around, starting a new game, nothing.
Wish there was just an event button in the top right that you could toggle on and off instead of a pop up on the left. I hate that it's always there now, don't want to see that icon all the time.

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Pretty much everything, don't have a handful of kits and the love struck expansion
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I just logged in and it was like this not sure how to replicate circumstances
What happens when the bug occurs? The tasks for the new grim reaper event don't show up in live play
What do you expect to see? i expect to see tasks so I can work through the event and get the rewards

I have tried many things to try and get this to work, the only thing that worked was removing my mods folder removing another folder, deleting one folder and repairing a game but as soon as I put my mods back in it is broken again, I don't want to play without my mods so I am trying to find a way to fix the issue without having to remove my mods and CC, I understand not being allowed mods like UI Cheats and MCCC but not any mods at all? I also tried disabling the debug issue with BBB and deleting it again and that STILL did nothing, I have tried removing a few mods at a time nothing. I don't want to be required to play with out my mod since the play through I want to do it on uses the mods I have for aspirations and different jobs as well as outfit and furniture if I remove and save the game then I loose all of that stuff. is there a way to fix it without removing all of the mods?
