yesterday was crazy so I haven't been able to keep up with this thread. I saw that some of you are still having issues but I don't have the capacity to go backwards and help everyone that may or may not have solved the issue on their own now.
I have updated the solution post (marked as such to make the post visible) to include the newest findings. Please read the whole post to get tips on how to prevent the error for happening again.
As outlined in my blog post: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2024/09/reapers-rewards-event/ I would even suggest to do the event on an entirely different user folder. You have to decide that for yourself.
As said, I will not go backwards but I will try to answer folks with issues going forward. Try to be as detailed as possible as what hasn't worked for you. Also be aware that there are other issues that might or might not be solvable with the same method. Most have their own thread so use those.
