Live Streaming as a Tech Guru should no longer reset your Sim

I was able to reproduce this with a new sim by using cheats to promote in the Tech Guru career, same thing with different computers in-game. Created a short screencap of what happens in the link under. (Google Drive link like EA suggests)

I am having the same problem with my sim. No mods. Have Pets, Dine Out, and recently got City Living. Only experience this with City Living in an apartment while in the Cat Video Creator job. It’s a job task and she can’t complete it.
Try using one of the Sims' gaming consoles with a TV instead of a PC. I was able to still get promoted but it sucked not being able to use the computer.

This issue happens to me on all computers, base game and up. I don't have HSY and tested it with my mods and without (with cleared cache's) and the results are the same. I have a last exception file but it won't let me upload a .html.

I have the same problem. I’ve moved apartments, got different computers and it still removes any action in the taskbar. My sim resets and I’ve tried the reset sim cheat but it doesn’t change anything. I’ve had mods installed before but I don’t have them enabled anymore. Instead of going down the tech guru career I had my sim go down the GF influencer one. Every time I load up the game and try the same action it doesn’t work. I don’t have all the dlc’s.
Yep this is happening to me now. Disappointing. Whenever I click the action from the computer my sim literally just teleports randomly to somewhere on the property and loses the action from the queue.
