[FIXED] Sims invading Homes (Patch 1.103.250/1.84)

@verna2013 What does fully updated mean ? Could you please check your game version ?

Did you test this out on a new save after today's patch ?

I mean it has the latest update that was done 2 days ago 5th December 2023! 

im not sure how to look for the patch number but I know it did the most recent update. 

I started a new game and it still did it. As soon as I’d built my house a welcome wagon came that’s all good because they knocked but then 3 other random sims turned up and walked in

@verna2013 Where they neighbors ? Once you start the welcome wagon, all neighbors come in without knocking. Do you still have the issue outside of the welcome wagon ?

No they weren’t neighbours. They come any time of day whether that be daytime or night time. When I’m home or at work. It’s rather irritating. 

I'm currently experiencing this problem where random sims enter my residential rental. The most recent occasion was my gameplay yesterday (12/29), so whatever is causing this is still an active issue.

• I own all packs except for the Modern Menswear/Modern Luxe/Pastel Pop kits.
• This issue has occurred in multiple saves on different occasions. In one save, playing in the Copperdale pier neighborhood, random stall vendors would finish their shift and then enter my rental unit and sit down to watch TV.
  In a second save, playing in San Myshuno's Spice market, I had three separate issues: a tenant from another unit repeatedly ran into my unit to hide from a thunderstorm by getting under the covers of a bed. Two or three stall vendors finished their shift and ran into my unit to hide from the thunderstorm in bed. And the third was another tenant who came in and started doing laundry and cooking a meal on the stove.
• Yes I use mods/cc.
• My front door was not locked at the time of the invasion.
• The issue is occurring in rental units.
• My sim had to introduce themselves to the two tenants before I had any further dialogue options, and after I did, all I could find was a "goodbye" option under friendly. I used it and both sims left. However, as soon as they did, they came right back, and after that there was no friendly way to say goodbye, only a mean interaction to ask them to leave. Despite me telling them to leave, they continued to return again and again and again.
• I was not having a party. I had a Welcome Wagon earlier in that day, but a) it had ended and b) the invading sims (tenants + stall vendors) were not part of the Welcome Wagon.
• I've experienced issues in Copperdale and San Myshuno.
• Stall vendors have invaded my active family's rental unit on numerous occasions.
• None of the sims who entered the apartment had ever been given a key.
• On separate occasions, the invading sims have watched TV, hidden in bed from a thunderstorm, done laundry, and cooked a meal.

I've had the same issue in some saves, haven't played them recently though.

My household was living in Henford on a regular residential lot (no rental). Happened on 2 different lots in Henford.
Both the pub owner and Cecilia Kang, separately, on multiple occasions kept walking into the house.

They have not been invited, it wasn't the welcome wagon, no party, no key, I didn't even know them yet.

I could not send them home.

I don't remember what they did inside my house.

This happened in December, I don't remember the GameVersion, but it was up to date at the time.

It only happened in houses where there was a sliding door as a 2nd way to get into the house.

They would always use the sliding door. It was not set as the front door. They would never use the front door for trespassing.

I'm playing in Henford all the time, but for the last weeks I only played in houses where there's no 2nd entry and the bug hasn't occured since then.

I don't know if it's related to the For Rent expansion, but it's worth mentioning that I've never had this bug before that.
Yes, I'm playing with a few mods, so I can't tell if the bug is caused by them or by the game itself.

I experienced this kind of situation just in Henford-on-Bagley and that led me to think that it was inteded to work like that. As if we (henford-on-bagley people) were a community and all the doors had to be open to the neighborhood.
