Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Enter build mode, open household inventory, and click on an item to select it (bug does not occur when selling from household inventory). The specific items that caused it for me were parts of the modular display furniture from Dream Home Decorator (the little cube and wall-mounted cupboards). They were only in the inventory in the first place because of another bug that removes them from the build and puts them there when switching between lots!
What happens when the bug occurs? As soon as I try to select an item from the household inventory the game crashes (black screen, back to Xbox homepage).
What do you expect to see? I expect the item to be selected and then be able to place it in my build.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Installed new Crystal Creations Stuff Pack.

Happens to me too! The game is unplayable. It didn’t do this before the stupid update on the 27/2!
I don’t use mods/ cc/ cheats. I play on the Xbox although I’ve given up until it’s fixed

My game keeps crashing. Last two times I clicked on broom in my sim inventory, and before that my sim opened simmi capsule. It's impossible to play. I am reading about workaround rn. But, Simmi capsule crashing is new, and I haven't seen it mentioned.
