Is anyone still seeing this issue after today's patch?
Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Steam-PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.90.358.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Expansion Packs: HIghschool years, Cottage Living, Eco Lifestyle, Discover University, Seasons, Cates & Dogs, City Living Game Packs: Werewolves, Dream Home Decorator, Realm of Magic, Strangerville, Vampires Stuff Packs: Paranormal, Tiny Living, Moschino, My First Pets
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Look in the build catalog no social bunny UI on the phone error code 0 for saving the game
What happens when the bug occurs? There is no UI for Social Bunny All of the build and buy mode items say debug I get an error code 0 when I try to save my game
What do you expect to see? I expect to see a UI for Social Bunny and be able to open it at all I expect to be able to see the build and buy mode items names and descriptions I expect to be able to save my game
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I attached images of Social Bunny having no UI, as well as all of the items having no name or descriptions just saying Debug (could only attach 3 images)
I had the same problem. I’m guessing for you that no text shows up in the description/titles of Copperdale lots, etc. Based on what I’ve heard, the HSY pack was missing the US text document. Reinstalling or repairing should fix it. What worked for me was launching the game from origin (and confirming the packs in bottoms left) instead of launching it through Steam. Hope this helps! 🙂
EDIT: I forgot to say that when it works, all previously **DEBUG** times will be named properly, the SocialBunny text will show up, the calendar text will show up. The only thing that will be missing is the title/description of Copperdale buildings (I presume they’re just wiped due to the bug). Renaming hem should work.
