[FIXED] [STEAM] HSY missing String files

Product: The Sims 4 Platform:Steam-PC Which language are you playing the game in? English How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) What is your current game version number? 1.90.358.103...

    Hello.

    Is anyone still seeing this issue after today's patch?

@TheHouseOfBacon Hey, thanks so much for your suggestion!!

I just tried this and unfortunately it didn't help either! I guess my best hope is to sit tight and hope that next week's patch manages to fix the issue. Bummer, but at least the Sims team and community has been super responsive and helpful.

If something changes, I'll post here just in case it ends up being helpful for anyone else.

@xoxogossiphobbit Did you try downloading the files Robo linked above and adding those to your game

    @crinrictI did! No change, though. Robo also took a look at some of my files for me and let me know that nothing looked too out of place on first blush, but that they're still looking into it.

      @xoxogossiphobbit Do you by chance have an EP12 Delta folder (you shouldn't)

        @crinrict Oh, interesting. Okay so I don't really know what I'm looking at here so please let me know if this is unusual:

        In steamapps > common > The Sims 4 I do have a folder called Delta filled with subfolders for what seems like every single release (not just the packs I actually own, but all of them). Clicking through these, they all seem to have a variety of files in them including string files, etc., but my folder for EP12 is the only one of these which contains only a single file: ResourceClient.cfg

        Is the problem that this folder is missing the files from my steamapps > common > The Sims 4 > EP12 folder? I could maybe just copy them in there, but I don't know what this Delta folder is or does lol
