11 years agoIMO, teens and kids living on their own should not be considered a bug... It's the logical solution if all parents/adults on the lot die. It was allowed in all previous versions of the sims as far as I know (definitely for teens in TS2 and TS3, and children in The Sims).

No, if a child was the alone the social worker came to take it.
The problem here is that it's not the same throughout the game. You can't make them in CAS living on their own and because of that, they can't be edited in CAS if the parents died. So I do believe it was not intended that they can even live alone.

But teens have always been able to live alone, but in the sims 2 and 3 you didn't have to go to CAS to change clothes so there was never really a problem.
