[FR] Count of beds/baths for rental apartments is not updated after editing

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? Deutsch
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.103.250.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get to Work, Get Together, City Living, Cats & Dogs, Seasons, Get Famous, Island Living, Discover University, Eco Lifestyle, Snowy Escape, Cottage Living, Growing Together, Horse Ranch, For Rent, Outdoor Retreat, Spa Day, Dine Out, Parenthood, Jungle Adventure, StrangerVille, Star Wars: Journey to Batuu, Dream Home Decorator, Nifty Knitting, Tiny Living, Moschino, Laundry Day, Toddler Stuff, Fitness Stuff, Bowling Night, Vintage Glamour, Backyard Stuff, Kids Room, Romantic Garden, Movie Hangout, Cool Kitchen Stuff, Spa Day, Pefect Patio, Luxury Party, Courtyard Oasis
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Buy a rental lot. Go to the lot. Set the count of beds/ baths in the lot-settings to 1/1 for each appartment. Travel home. Start filling the appartments with tenants (e.g. 2 out of 6). Go to the rental lot to an unoccupied appartment. Go into build mode. Adjust the count of beds/ baths in the lot-settings to e.g. 4/2 for the empty appartments. Travel home. Go into the renting panel. The count of beds/ baths is still set to 1/1.
What happens when the bug occurs? The count of beds/ baths is not adjusted to the newly set numbers. The modified lot name is also still the default one in the renting panel (as already posted by other Simmers).
What do you expect to see? The count of beds/ baths is adjusted to the newly set numbers.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

tldr; count of beds/baths for rental appartments is not adjusted in the rental panel, where you chose the tenants.

Edit By Crinrict: Added Tag to Title, Adjusted Title, Added Base Game Version Number

See my post down below - no bug here, just a confusing GUI....

Having the same problem also lot names won’t update.

  • After reentering the rental lot and switching to build mode, the adjusted counts for beds/ baths is still the adjusted, corrected one.

Deleted, comment was unfortunately not correct: Selling and rebying does not solve the problem, even after rebying the house the numbers stay incorrect in 5 out of 6 appartments.

Same issue for me too. Only one of the units is showing the number of beds/bath. The other units all say 0/0 even after editing and saving it. I tried this with multiple lots and same result.

I tested without mods and a brand new game with a brand new household, moving as a tennant into an empty flat.

I then bought an empty lot in Tomarang for rent.

After automatically being transferred to the lot, I had the building issue (placed 2 rooms, was not allowed to change them ("space not owned"). After travelling home and back there and assigning the two rooms to the first appartment, I was able to edit everything).

    I created 2 apprtments, both with a double bed. I set the numbers for bed/bath to: app-1: 0/0, app-2: 8/1

In the owners panel they showed up with the numbers: app-1: 1/1, app-2: 1/1

I edited the first appartment and added another bathroom. I did not changed the numbers for bed/bath in the building menu.

I edited the second appartment and added two single beds. I did not changed the numbers for bed/bath in the building menu.

In the owners panel they now showed up with these numbers: app-1: 1/2, app-2: 3/1

My conclusion: the game counts beds and bathrooms itself. The numbers one enters in the build menu are totally obsolete.

I confirmed this by replacing one double bed by 2 single beds, and voila: the bed-count increased by 1 as expected.

BUT: double beds are counted as one bed. And this leads to allowing only a single Sim to move into an appartment with just one double bed. This is wrong, dear game!

EDIT: I have to correct me: the game seems to know, whether available tennants can use a double bed together, or not: the necessary number of beds is "1" for them. This is my outcome after further testing.

So no bug here, but: pls remove the numbers in build menu as they seem to be obsolete and is confusing.

I am having the same issue. For a tiny home rental and a loft style rental.
