[GF] Actor Performance bar not fully raising

I get the sense that the problem here isn't so much the performance bar as the "Complete the Performance" task is not completed with the performance is over unless you achieve a gold rating. As a result, everything is stuck with the lights dimmed until either the work day times out or you choose to end the performance early. I've always gotten gold ratings; the first time I experienced this was the first time I finished the last performance-related Task while I only had a silver medal.

I think the desired behavior is that after you finish the last performance-related Task (display the product or what-have-you,) the "Complete the Performance" task should be completed, the lights snap back on, and the timer updates to the work day finishing very shortly thereafter. Basically, the same the way it behaves when you earn gold on a performance, only in this case, we should only be rating what medal we actually earned.
