@SylvanSimmer I'm a bit confused. Could you mark on the map where the mailbox is ? Did you build the house on the lot or download from the gallery ?

@crinrict Thanks for the response! I’ve indicated with an arrow where on the map the mailbox ended up. I built the lot myself, but the issue was the same in a new save with the lot empty.

@SylvanSimmer I'm a bit confused. Could you mark on the map where the mailbox is ? Did you build the house on the lot or download from the gallery ?

@SylvanSimmer Is this also with different save (I have issue in Oasis Springs where my mailbox is off lot and I can't remove it but its just the one save i have for some reason)

I have the same problem, my sims keep waling across the entire scenario every time they have to donate or ship something even though I bought a new mailbox and placed it on my lot ☹️ Anyone found a solution yet?

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start The Sims 4 on Xbox One. Go to San Sequoia. Go to the plot 23 Eucalyptus Lane.
What happens when the bug occurs? It did not start me with a mailbox. I didn't realize until a couple weeks went by and I never had to pay bills.
What do you expect to see? I expect for a freshly bought lot to automatically have a mailbox in it. I also expect that if someone were to bulldoze a lot and build their own but forgot to put down a mailbox, that the game would automatically put a mailbox in the corner of the lot like normal. Even in the absence of a mailbox (which should never occur), I would still expect sims to get bills and have to pay either on their phone or computer.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.

Please describe the patch or change you made. The freshly released growing together expansion pack. (in the pack's new world)

I both have a working mailbox on my homelot at 23 Eucalyptus Lane, and a working/visible mailbox on the lot from SylvanSimmer's pictures. One of my sims had to send som knitting to charity and ran to the far away one, instead of that one on the homelot.

** I bought the mailbox on my homelot in buy/build, because I noticed the lot didn't have any (A lot from the Gallery, i've changed to fit my Sims family). Just realised today, the original mailbox probably was on the other lot all the while. Have deleted the far away one just now, and will see if anything happens.
