[ARCHIVED] [GRO] Milestones: Numbers doesn't fulfill with blocks/wrong order

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.100.144.1230
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Horse Ranch, Growing Together, Cottage Living, Snowy Escape, Discover University, Island Living, Cats and Dogs, City Living, Get to Work, Werewolves, Realm of Magic, Strangerville, Jungle Adventure, Paranormal, Tiny Living, Moschino, Laundry Day, Bowling Night, Kids Room, Book Nook, Grunge Revival, Desert Luxe, Little Campers
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play with a toddler and Growing Together.
What happens when the bug occurs? The "study letters" milestone shows as your "next" milestone in the thinking category after you study shapes.
What do you expect to see? It should be "study numbers" first, which unlocks while you're still building the thinking skill - letters don't unlock until you max it.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

This was previously marked as fixed, but they just shifted the problem slightly. Before, you couldn't get the study numbers milestone at all, because it wasn't available until after completing study letters. Now, you can get the study numbers milestone by using the numbers flashcards (still doesn't work on the blocks) but you have to know to do it - because the tracker still shows study letters as next instead of numbers.

    My toddler has all and I did teach them numbers

    Basic needs numbers and letters

    Got none of the milestones then learned shapes and got all but number and now their maxed and can only teach letters again...fix this so when maxed you can teach all its stupid this way

    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Study Numbers toddler milestone still can't be completed, even after patch 144.
    What happens when the bug occurs? Everytime you have a toddler and wants to reach that milestone
    What do you expect to see? The milestone completed reached
    Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

    Study Numbers toddler milestone still can't be completed, even with 1.97.42.1030 patch.

    What happens: After reaching the "Study Shapes" milestone, it pops up with the "Study Letters" milestone instead of "Study Numbers". This should have been fixed with patch 144 from 2023-04-18, but it was not. The bug in the game still exists.

    Still happening in 1.107.151.1020, new save, no mods. 

    The root of the issue, as OP points out, is that the Learn Numbers/Teach Numbers (Flashcard) interactions have an upper skill limit and become unavailable after the toddler has reached a certain level.

    The Numbers milestone cannot be completed with a skilled toddler (level 5).

    But the Letters milestone requires level 5 (that's when the interaction unlocks). 

    The Letters milestone appears as a 'suggested' milestone first. Following this suggestion would lock the toddler out of the Numbers milestone. 

    A possible workaround is to lower a toddler's Thinking skill to level 4 with stats.set_skill_level statistic_skill_toddler_thinking 4 to have them complete the milestone. Not a solution but might help move things along in a legacy or super-sim challenge.

    Hey ... They supposedly patched this in 2023. But my top notch infant couldn't learn numbers once toddler. Got all other milestones
