Error Code: d2:be0ac791
The game failed to load, it's recommended you relaunch the game.

So this error pooped up trying to load the game today, I didn't notice anything funny when I was playing yesterday and it hasn't done an update since.

I've tried deleting the cache files, the lastexception files, tried repairing the game (using the forums guide to keep saved games) and nothing is helping. I've been playing this family line for years and would be devastated if I lose it all.

I'm also not very computer literate so need some help being talked through what to try next.

    @meggiemoo186 Is that the whole number you get ? Never seen a code like that.

    Any mods/cc ?

      Hi Crinrict,

      Sorry, I now realise I've left off half the code, don't know how I've done that! Told you I wasn't very computer literate.

        @meggiemoo186 Do you have any Sims in the detective career or other active ones ?

        Also are you using mods/cc ?
