GUI in upper right corner messed up

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? Svenska
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.105.297.1230
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Expansions: Cats and dogs, City Living, Get together, Seasons, Growing together Game packs: Parenthood, Dream home decorator, Dine out Stuff packs: Tiny living, Cool kitchen, Romantic garden, Laundry day, My first pet, Homechef hustle
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open the game, enter a world and look at the top right menu. The bug continues when you enter build mode and live mode.
What happens when the bug occurs? The icons on the top right menu look weird. The icons for choosing wall view, going upstairs/downstairs etc. works, but it's hard to see them. A part of the menu is completely blacked out, and it doesn't work to access the gallery. When in build mode I can't access live mode as the button for it is gone. I can, however, click a tiny portion of the screen where the button is supposed to be, but if I do that, I can't exit live mode instead.
What do you expect to see? I expected working buttons and icons and to exit and enter build/live mode without issues.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I updated to the latest version after the patch on February 27th.

This happened after the latest patch. I've tried to remove my mods (I only have a few - MCCC, burnout toggle and BBB) but it doesn't make a difference. The game is still playable, but not in live mode. I can't switch between live and build mode, to do that I have to restart the game and enter the lot immediately from build or live mode, depending on which one I want.

    After the last update on February 27th, the top right menu has been bugged for me. The usual icons seem to all be combined with the symbol for live mode, and live mode is not an option for me anymore. I've tried to remove my mods (I only have a few) to troubleshoot, but they don't seem to be the issue. This problem started after I downloaded the new update.

    I don’t know if this is mods or cc. I hadn’t updated mccc in a while so I tried updating that. I had one zipped mods folder so I unzipped it. I also removed the cosmetology mod and tried removing mods and animations. Nothing has fixed it yet and I don’t even know if I’m checking things correctly. Any tips? Should I be checking cc too?

    I have a good few script mods and an absolute tonne of cc. Totaling about 3.5k all and all

    @Olefams There were UI changes in this afternoon's patch which will have affected many mods. We're only just starting to get confirmations on which ones and to see which are updated. UI Cheats Extension has been updated today, and is a likely cause of your issue. It's under "updated" in the pinned Broken/Updated Mods  list. You may still have other issues, though. Keep backups of your saves and/or take a few days off while modders catch up.

    Thanks so much, I’m still a novice with modding and where to find updates when things break so I really appreciate this. Good idea to make copies of my save folders. I think I’ll do that now to try and prevent any further problems. God I hate patch day 🫣

    @Olefams Just want to note that if it's not UI Cheats, it could be some other mod that hasn't been specifically reported yet. If you want to narrow it down instead of playing mod-free for a bit or doing something else while modders test and update, you can try a 50-50 .

    I don’t think it’s a Mod issue. I play on PS5 and am having the same problem.

    After the newest update my game has been doing this. I repaired my game as well as deleting all my mods and cc yet it is still doing it. please help
