Yes, these barrels are on my home lot. I didn't even think about using another lot to train. I wish I didn't have to do that as it is a bit of inconvenience, but it may be a temporary fix for now!
Update: Using barrels on another lot did fix this issue, but I would still like to see this worked on if possible.
@brugernavn21 At least there's a workaround for now.
Could you also list your dogs traits ? Maybe that plays a role and would be helpful for EA.

Barrels are on my lot, which is the Canter Cottage lot (but I placed a different lot there from the Gallery). Sim is mounted to horse and they're running barrels, and when the cat comes near they just stop and sit there.
There are two cats in the household, and this happens with either one.
