Infants crying when happy
Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
What is your current game version number? 1.96.365.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? HSY, Cottage living, eco lifestyle, discovery university, seasons, cats & dogs, city living, get together, get to work, werewolved, DHD, realm of magic, journey to batuu, vampires, spa day, paranormal, nifty knitting, tiny living, laundry day, vintage glanour, romantic garden.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have an infant which would ordinarily make them cry, while having a different moodlet (e.g. angry from wanting to be let out, but happy from feeling loved).
What happens when the bug occurs? Infant has the animation for crying, even though it's clear the child is either happy or asleep. First noticed it when the infant was asleep but somehow crying at the same time, and then after they were awake they were actually crying, but once they were held and happy, the animation hadn't stopped as the moodlet for 'let me out' remained.
What do you expect to see? Moodlets not conflicting resulting in animations overlapping.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Infant update
Very weird situation, seems that the moodlet for 'Let me out!' is causing crying, which when overtaken by another happy moodlet doesn't cancel out the crying so you end up with overlapping odd animations. Once the negative moodlets had gone the crying animation still remained until I reset the infant.
