Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Actually, it's not a bug. They added new abilities to the game and forgot to add the option to create guides for those abilities. When you have completed the Renaissance aspiration and acquired the Chronicler trait, you will have the option of writing skill guides that you know about on the pc.
What happens when the bug occurs? The following skills are lacking in the options to create guides: baking, fabrication, herbalism, knitting, flower arranging, parenting, photography, robotics, wellness, vampire.
What do you expect to see? I wish my sims could write guides for these skills that are missing from the game after earning the chronicler trait.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
In the following screenshots, you will notice that my character has maximum skill in vampire, knitting and herbalism. However, when we select to write a skill book, only the options appear: charisma, cooking, comedy, fitness, logic, gardening, mixology and fishing. I would like her to write a book on herbalism but there is no such possibility.
