My Sim isn't receiving royalties for publishing written books

Snowy Escape, Island Living, Get Famous, Seasons, Cats and Dogs, City Living, Get Together, Parenthood, Dine Out, Spa Day, Nifty Knitting, Laundry Day, Toddler Stuff, Bowling Night Stuff, Vintage Glamour Stuff, Backyard Stuff, Movie Hangout stuff, Spooky Stuff.

What happens when the bug occurs? My Sim is in the Writer career and for about a month (real time) my sims has published a book for her work duty yet she's not receiving any royalties for these books and the amount for royalties is going down like she has stopped publishing books.
What do you expect to see? My sim receiving royalties for the books she writes.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
My Sim is at the top of the Writer career and has to write a book after every work day. My sim does this and publishes the books but she's not getting any royalties for them and even though the list of her published books is long the royalty cost is going down rapidly like she's not even publishing them. Is anyone else running into this problem? It would be great to have it fixed! It's so irritating!
- @mightyspritesims Thank you for teying to help. I believe I found a solution. I deleted the mailbox and got a new one and now her novels are showing on the royality list and she's getting paid. I hope this helps anyone who comes looking for an answer
