What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything except Journey to Batuu, Pastel Pop, and Decor to the Max.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to place the DIY Garage doors from City Living on a lot or place a build from the gallery with the garage doors.
What happens when the bug occurs? The doors go invisible and cause an infinite loading screen when trying to go to manage worlds. It also causes an infinite load screen if you try playing a household inside the lot or trying to access the lot via build mode from manage worlds.
What do you expect to see? Any lot with the DIY garage doors load and do not cause issues.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes. I have removed mods to try to fix it but it still occurs without mods.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Crystal Creations patch.
I'd like to note that this bug/issue may not be tied to just the DIY Garage Mural objects. It may also include the City Living DIY Floor & Wall Murals where it's just the blue tape outline. I don't use the garage objects all too often, but I tend to use the blue tape wall mural version on public lot builds. I have a massive high school build I did back in September that I can't move into a new save from my own gallery, and it may be due to my use of the DIY Wall Mural. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to remove an item that's not even visible.
I just encountered the garage door problem after placing a gallery build from FlorwalSims & noticing my game just deleted the garage doors from the fake garages. That's what tipped me off that something was wrong with the mural objects. There's no reason for the garage mural object to not place with the lot. I tried to just place the object down myself figuring the gallery deleted it, just for the garage door to disppear right after I placed it. So I googled this problem and found this thread.

Honestly, unclear how often as I've only *just* discovered this may be a bug I've been experiencing. I also don't use these objects super often to have even caught the issue sooner.
I do know in September when I did a high school build, I used the DIY Wall Mural within the courtyard area of the build and had zero issue with the item displaying where I put it at that point in time. (Now I can't even put my own build I put hours & hours into creating down in a new save I'm starting & I'm suspecting it's because of the DIY Wall Mural.)

Go into build mode and try to place the City Living mural objects. (DIY Garage Mural; DIY Rollup Garage Mural; DIY Wall Mural; DIY Floor Mural) Any one of those four objects will just disappear from sight. You'll get the audio queue the item placed, but it will immediately vanish.

Upon placing the object, the game will register the object was placed but the object will immediately vanish from sight. I know this thread was specifically referencing the garage door, but this also has happened to me with the regular floor & wall mural objects on multiple occasions. I've only just encountered this with the garage doors after placing the Mirage Park Homes build by florwalsims (share date 10 December 2023) when I noticed the garage doors were missing from each unit which is when I realized something was definitely wrong with these mural objects. The disappearing mural objects has also happened to me on non Residential Rental builds.
What do you expect to see?:
I expect to see the object I placed to remain placed & visible.

Yes, I have a lot of custom content in my game as well minor and major mods. However, I have encountered this problem with & without my mods folder in my game since I'm aware sometimes they can cause unexpected issues.

I can't be sure after which patch this issue began for me. If I had to estimate, it had to have been one of the updates prior to Life & Death or the one right before that EP's release. This is just a guesstimate based on when I did my high school build & when I recently tried using the DIY Floor Mural on a public venue I was working on around 2wks ago along with noticing the Garage Mural item did not place with the gallery build I wanted to use in my game.
